What is the Club Competition?
The Club Competition is for all gymnasts currently in Development 1 - 4, Gymstar Development, Accelerated Development & Pre-Competition programs. Gymnasts have been working hard on putting together routines with skills they have been learning throughout the year. Our goal for the event is to let gymnasts experience a competition in the familiar environment of their own club and to give an opportunity for the gymnasts to perform in front of a crowd.
Development 2 - 4
Gymnasts will perform a routine on all four apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam & Floor) and will be given a score based on how well they perform all of their skills. All of the four scores will be added together for their overall scores and medals will be presented for the gymnasts in 1st - 8th place. All gymnasts will also receive a participation medallion and certificate.
Development 1, Accelerated Development, Gymstar Development & Pre-Comp
The competition for these levels will be participation based. Gymnasts will still perform routines on all four apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam & Floor), but will receive feedback on their skills rather than scores. Gymnasts will receive a participation medallion and certificate.
