WHAT IS GYMNASTICS? HOW DOES IT WORK?
Well we think gymnastics is pretty awesome! Gymnastics is lots of swinging, running, jumping, rolling, climbing, spinning, balancing and any other way you can think of moving! Gymnastics is learning skills like handstands, cartwheels, rolls and developing the basic foundations for more complex skills like back flips and somersaults. Gymnastics develops strength, co-ordination, balance. Gymnastics is about using the bars, beams, ropes, trampolines, foam pit, rings and so much more.
DO YOU CATER FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
Absolutely. We will do everything possible to include every child regardless of their needs.
As every child has very unique needs, we would love to have a chat with you to find the most suitable class, coach and the best way to support your child. Give us a call to discuss your specific needs.
CAN WE DO A TRIAL CLASS BEFORE SIGNING UP?
Absolutely! When you arrange a trial, we book you into a class for the full year so that your spot is held and your child's name will show up on our class rolls. If you are coming along to try out a Kindergym class, your first class will be free and there will be nothing to pay on the day. If you are trialling a General Gym class, you can pay for just the single class on the day.
If you love it at Eclipse and are happy to continue, the place in the group is yours to keep and you will join our monthly direct debit system. If you decide it's not what you're after, simply let us know and we will take you off the class roll.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
There is no uniform for Kindergym and General Gym so it's super easy to get started at Eclipse. Leggings, shorts, tracksuit pants, t-shirt or singlet are all acceptable for Kindergym and General Gym gymnasts. Classes are also done in bare feet. All Eclipse members will receive a club t-shirt when the registration fees have been paid and lots of kids will wear this as part of their uniform.
WHAT IS THE FEES STRUCTURE AND HOW DO I PAY?
Fees are paid via monthly direct debit. Upon joining Eclipse, you will be required to provide us with your credit card details. This is a super easy, hassle-free way to ensure you don't have to remember due dates for fees. Just set and forget!

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD MISSES A CLASS BECAUSE THEY'RE SICK OR WE'RE ON HOLIDAYS?
We offer unlimited make up classes throughout the year. If your child is sick or you're on a holiday, simply let us know and we can book you a make up class at your convenience.
Make up classes must be booked in advance, must be done within 10 weeks of the missed class, and within the same calendar year while the gymnast is a current member.
IS THERE SOMEWHERE TO SIT AND WATCH CLASSES? IS IT OKAY TO DROP OFF AND LEAVE?
Yes! To both questions!
Sit and watch - We have a spacious spectator area with glass windows which you can see all the action from. You can purchase a cafe style Latte, Cappuccino or Hot Chocolate and small snack items at reception.
Drop and go - If you'd prefer to drop and go, that is absolutely fine provided we have your emergency contact details and your child is comfortable with you leaving the facility.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS?
Due to Child Protection laws, we cannot allow you to take photos or videos from in the spectator area. If you wish to take a photo of your child, please speak to reception and we can organise to take you into the gym after their class.
